WHERE TO STAY...

One of the most special things about this area of Long Island is its history and its charm. This is why I always recommend The Baker House or The Maidstone. Both places are walking distance from the town of East Hampton and have a very authentic, cozy bed and breakfast feel. Each of these buildings hold so much history and allow for a comfortable stay in a beautiful setting. I love how easily you can walk or ride your bike into town and explore all that East Hampton has to offer.

Topping Rose House is another hotel, which is walking distance from the town of Bridgehampton with easy access to a variety of stores and restaurants. There is also so much to do on the hotel’s property with a restaurant, pool, and spa. 

WHAT TO DO…

My absolute favorite thing to do is spend time outdoors in the sunshine with my family and friends, whether it be at home by the pool or at the beach. If I’m looking to do something a little different, I love an afternoon lunch or sunset dinner on Yacht Kelpie. It’s a beautiful American sailboat from 1928 that can host you and your guests for a day on the water. I also always enjoy visiting the Pollock Krasner Studio for beautiful and inspiring art or Madoo Conservancy to walk through the gardens and take in the wonders of nature.

WHERE TO EAT…

When I’m on Long Island, I like to eat at restaurants that are casual and easy… One of my favorite’s is Duryea’s Lobster Deck in Montauk. There’s nothing better than dinner outside by the water during a beautiful sunset. Clam Bar is also a Hamptons classic. Located right on the side of Montauk Highway you can order the most local and fresh foods. I even love the iconic yellow and white umbrellas at each table; they remind me of summer, sunshine, and wonderful memories.

Highway Restaurant is another longtime favorite of mine. They serve delicious, classic comfort food that everyone can enjoy. It feels like a neighborhood restaurant that is secluded from the summer crowds. 

WHERE TO SHOP…

In order to familiarize myself with a destination, I always like to walk around and explore on foot. Even if I’ve visited many times, I always find something new. This is especially true in the Hamptons because each town is special and unique in its own way. We have AERIN stores in East Hampton and Southampton, which are all about surprise and delight. I love that I am able to invite the customer into my world and bring our feminine, timeless aesthetic to life.

Loaves and Fishes Cookshop in Bridgehampton is my favorite spot for any cooking needs. They prepare and serve food, while also offering giftable items for the kitchen and home. Little East is another boutique in East Hampton that I love to visit. They have the most adorable, unique finds for children.
