Accommodation:

Marrakech: Once the master bedroom of the villa. This suite, with a spacious bathroom and dressing room, is awash with natural light. A large private terrace offers spectacular views out onto the gardens and sea below.

Rabat: Located within the main villa, this charming bedroom has walls panelled with ratan. An ensuite bathroom is decorated with traditional zellige. A private terrace adjoins the suite and overlooks the lush gardens and sea.

Meknes: Located in the main residence this ensuite bedroom has Arabesque architectural features and high ceilings. The marble bathroom has both a shower and a bath.

Taourdant: A suite at the garden level of the residence. The bedroom/sitting room and zellige tiled bathroom, adjoin a glazed terrace, which looks onto the sea and gardens.

Azrou: This room at the garden level of the main residence comprises an ensuite bedroom/sitting room and a separate dressing room which leads off the bedroom. The bathroom is of traditional zellige with a bath and shower.

Tiznit: A private cottage within the grounds is immersed in the lush greenery of the gardens and is in close proximity to the swimming pools.

The suite has its own large terrace, and is shaded by ancient trees.

Taza: An airy en suite, bedroom/sitting room and adjoining dressing room is located within a cottage in the gardens. The swimming pool is nearby. Breakfast and afternoon tea can be enjoyed on the adjoining terrace.

Ouazzane: This ensuite bedroom is located near the swimming pool within a cottage in the gardens. A sea view terrace outside is the perfect place for breakfast and afternoon tea.

Tafraoute: A garden bedroom with an en suite bathroom located in a cottage in the gardens of the villa. Glazed double doors lead to an adjoining terrace. The villa’s expansive swimming pool is a short walk away.

Ouarzazate: This spacious cottage, with a sea view, located in the gardens has a bedroom, sitting room and an ensuite bathroom. Adjacent to the cottage is a large terrace, complete with a flowing fountain and surrounded by bougainvillea, banana and citrus trees.

Midelt: A private cottage set within the gardens. This light and comfortable ensuite bedroom is decorated with painting’s from Jasper’s collection and emerald Fez embroidery.  Glazed doors from the bedroom lead out onto a terrace surrounded with bamboo and banana trees, perfect for enjoying breakfast and afternoon tea.

Facilities:

  • The Gardens: The garden, originally designed in the early nineties by renowned landscape designer Madison Cox under Saint Laurent and Bergé’s guidance, traverses a series of cascading terraces deftly positioned to allow for breathtaking views across the Strait of Gibraltar and the North Atlantic Sea.

  • Events: Villa Mabrouka is the perfect setting for events, be that for parties, family occasions or weddings. Cocktail and tea parties can be held by the pool and on the roof top terrace.

  • Hammam & Spa: An ancient custom, central to Moroccan culture, the hammam uses heat to ease tension and promote well-being as part of a purifying and soothing ritual. The traditional hammam treatment takes place in a setting of honeyed tadelakt and marble enveloped in steam and lit through ancient Roman glass. Black Moroccan soap is applied to the skin which is then scrubbed using a Kessala glove. This process which stimulates circulation leaves the skin exfoliated and rejouvinated. After rinsing ‘Ghassoul’ a clay from the the High Atlas Mountains is applied to the body leaving it soft, refreshed and smooth.

Restaurant

  • An all-day menu of light, seasonal and classic dishes emphasise market-fresh Mediterranean ingredients. From daily caught fish and seafood, served simply grilled, as a crispy fritto misto or in a light bouillabaisse-broth, to locally grown fruit and vegetables transformed into crisp, salads, refreshing side dishes, delicious desserts and soothing sorbets, everything including traditional French breads and moreish sweet biscuits is prepared inhouse.

  • Villa Mabrouka is a warm and inviting setting for dinners, parties and family occasions. The Gazebo, with its hand painted interior, set above the pool and looking out onto the lawn and gardens can accommodate up to 8 people. Up to 12 people seated can be seated in the Pavilion D’Été with its open fire and view on to the pool, lawns and garden.
