A young painter has built her dream house on a wonderful plot of land between Farangas beach and Dryos village - prime position on the south-east coast of the island. A great choice for a group of 10-14 people wanting privacy and seclusion - the area is authentically rural and unspoilt - guests pass by sheep and small farms with chicken coops and strutting roosters on the way to the villa, and this is the real Paros off the beaten track. In spite of this, the house is walking distance to the insider beach of Glyfa to the west with its small beach cafe for low key beach days, two small coves to the east, and a very short drive to the hidden pebble beach. The views across to the islands of Naxos, Shinousa, Iraklia, Ios, Sikinos and Folegandros are beautiful and the night sky untouched by light pollution.

Accommodation:

The property consists of a main house with three bedrooms, a guest house with 2 independent guest suites, a lower-level staff cottage and a recreation/activity space, all connected to each other by pergolas, paths, courtyards, and gardens with Mediterranean trees and plants.
The decoration is in muted earth tones and colours, with designer furniture and a high regard for comfort and harmony.

MAIN HOUSE- sleeps 6
A sleek, glass fronted building, this space offers a light-filled open plan living room and dining area (seats 10 guests - more seats can be added), a fully equipped kitchen (which can be closed off) and glass doors which open onto the pool terrace with a wooden sunbathing deck surrounded on three sides by pool, and sea views.
Next to the living area are:

  • Bedroom 1 - Double room with en-suite shower room - front facing and opens onto the pool terrace.

  • Bedroom 2 - Double room with en-suite shower room

  • Bedroom 3 - Double room with en-suite shower room

  • A rooftop terrace is a great space for early morning yoga or a star-gazing nightcap.

  • All rooms have a view of the sea and are arranged around an internal garden (patio) with lemon trees, pomegranates, evening primroses and hibiscus.
    Just outside the kitchen area is a shaded dining area with a wooden table (seats 6-7 guests) - perfect for breakfast outside!

    Staff accommodation: 1 twin bedroom for house staff and 1 single bedroom for guests' staff.The rear area has been cleverly designed to provide a sunken staff house and a garage: the staff residence has two bedrooms, two shower rooms and a kitchen-dining area. One of these rooms (double bed) may be used by guests' own staff. It has a courtyard, a terraced garden and an independent entrance on the east side, while on its west side it opens onto a walled outdoor living area with lemon, orange and jasmine trees.

    The garden is populated with Mediterranean species and has paths that lead to special corners of the estate from where one can enjoy the view, the sunrise and the close proximity to the water.
